    Success Stories

At Kindred Healthcare, our hard work and efforts are rewarded daily by the patients and residents we serve. Not only are we thanked in person on a regular basis, we receive countless letters, poems and artwork showing appreciation. These stories are representative of many we receive. For letters received by this facility, contact the admissions director.

    From a Kindred Hospital Patient

I’ve been in hospitals in West Virginia, Texas, Virginia, and New Mexico. Kindred Hospital puts them all to shame when it comes to all the caring personnel. The facilities are fine, but the people are what make the difference. I’m 88 years old, almost blind and crippled. I have never had finer treatment anywhere! – Mildred E.

From the Family of a Patient at Kindred Hospital Santa Ana

From the moment we walked through the doors of Kindred Hospital Santa Ana we felt the warmth of a compassionate family of caregivers. We just knew we had found a home for the time we could have with our precious one.

On our daily visits, there was always time by each and every team member from every department to give a kind word, a smile or a hug when needed. So many questions/requests we had were always satisfied as her care needs were met.

There was always professionalism, compassion and dignity given to our girl and we shall always cherish those qualities given freely. You are and always will be remembered for your hearts of gold.

Our extended thoughts go to three staff members we call "Shining Stars." As a family we were able to interact almost daily with the three as they saw to her needs. Each of them spoke softly, calling her by name, explaining what was about to take place, continuing to speak throughout her care. We felt connected as we shared who she was, her loves, her gifts of the heart, her world and our world with her. To the three "Shining Stars" we extend our deepest appreciation and know from the heavens above she is ever thankful for the giving of and by Aaron (for dignity), Dennis (for tenderness) and Myrna (for compassion).

From the depth of our hearts a very special and warm expression of gratitude is extended to Dr. Victor Siew. May you each remember as you continue to give of your skills you shall reap rewards. May good health follow you all the days of your life.
